Coping with panic attacks isn't easy, I know.I lived with them for 17 years. It wasn't fun.But during that time I managed to discover some great tips and tricks to manage my anxiety, and eventually to overcome it altogether. One of the places I learned quite a few tips and tricks was in a book I just happened to stumble upon It's called "The Power of Full Engagement," and it's written by Tony Schwartz and Jim Loehr. The crazy thing is, this book has absolutely nothing to do with panic or anxiety disorders. It's actually a book about how to manage your time and energy, how to get more done in the same time, and how to find your true purpose in life. When you consider what this book is about, it's a miracle I ever read it.But every now and then I just order a book online that I happen to find, and this was one of them. And it made a big impression on me.I started to realise that coping with panic attacks really came down to managing my energy better.Using it productively, and not wasting it on negativity. The book goes into detail about how to make sure you don't reach that "burnout" that so many of us experience. And that "burnout," I've found, is the root-cause of many people's anxiety disorders.Finding out how to manage and prevent this energy "burnout" was one of the best things I ever did for myself, and "The Power of Full Engagement" was the book that started it all for me.If, like I was a couple of years ago, you're not coping with panic attacks very well, then I really believe you can benefit from reading this book.
